Online Terms and Conditions
These are the terms for buying from Strouds online (W A Stroud Ltd).
When you place an order
- Your order is an offer to buy.
- A sale is only confirmed once we dispatch your item(s).
- We may reject orders for out-of-stock products.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in NZD and exclude GST and freight.
- Freight is calculated and shown at checkout.
- If there’s a pricing error, we may cancel and refund the order.
- Payment must be made in full unless you’ve been approved for credit.
For credit account holders:
- Payment is due by the 20th of the month following invoice.
- We may charge interest on overdue amounts at 15% p.a.
- We may stop future deliveries or charge your saved payment method.
Delivery
- In-stock items usually ship within 24 hours.
- Rural and freight deliveries may take an extra 1 – 2 days.
- We’re not liable for delivery delays caused by couriers or external factors.
- If your order goes missing, we’ll help investigate with the courier.
Local Pickup
- Pickup is free from our North Shore warehouse at Strouds, 14G Vega Place, Rosedale, North Shore, Auckland.
- We’ll contact you when your order is ready.
Returns (Unused Items)
- You can return unused items within 14 days.
- Items must be in original condition with proof of purchase.
- You’ll get a store credit (not a cash refund).
- Some items (custom orders, clearance) can’t be returned.
Warranties
- Our products are covered by manufacturer warranties.
- Damage from misuse or incorrect installation isn’t covered.
- Faulty items must be reported within 2 days of receiving the goods.
Liability
- We’re not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
- Buyer is responsible for complying with all legal requirements for use.
Force Majeure
We’re not liable if something outside our control (e.g. natural disaster, strike) prevents us from fulfilling your order.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
