Terms and Conditions

These are the terms for buying from Strouds (W A Stroud Ltd).

 

When you place an order

1. Your order is an offer to buy.
2. A sale is only confirmed once we dispatch your item(s).
3. We may reject orders for out-of-stock products.

 

Pricing & Payment

1. All prices are in NZD and exclude GST and freight.
2. Freight is calculated and shown at checkout.
3. If there’s a pricing error, we may cancel and refund the order.
4. Payment must be made in full unless you’ve been approved for credit.

 

Delivery

1. In-stock items usually ship within 24 hours.
2. Rural and freight deliveries may take an extra 1 – 2 days.
3. We’re not liable for delivery delays caused by couriers or external factors.
4. If your order goes missing, we’ll help investigate with the courier.

Warranties

1. Our products are covered by manufacturer warranties.
2. Damage from misuse or incorrect installation isn’t covered.
3. Faulty items must be reported within 2 days of receiving the goods.

 

Liability

1. We’re not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
2. Buyer is responsible for complying with all legal requirements for use.

 

Force Majeure

We’re not liable if something outside our control (e.g. natural disaster, strike) prevents us from fulfilling your order.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.

 

Liquidation Sale – Terms & Conditions

 

• Strictly while stocks last. No rain checks or back orders under any circumstances.

• No back orders. Only items physically in stock at the time of order are available.

• A sale is only confirmed once items have been dispatched.

• We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders for products that are out of stock and issue a refund.

• In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

• Refunds usually take 5–10 business days to show in your account.

• Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. No credit accounts or deferred payment options are available.

• GST invoices are being printed and sent with your shipment.

• No returns or refunds for change of mind on liquidation sale items.

• All sales are final except where required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described.

• All products are covered by standard manufacturer warranties, where applicable.

• Discounts apply to sale stock only and cannot be combined with any other offers.
